It is easy to set time & set time to brew. At last a simple brewer.
I am really disappointed in this coffeemaker. Consumer Reports rated this high. I purchased on 4/21/08 and today, 8/10/08, this coffeemaker is in non-working order.
I really like the coffee maker a lot. The coffee is good and I like the features. The only problem I have it that the lid to the pot is a little difficult to put back on after washing it.
No problems with the clock, good coffee, and solid workmanship. Now, we read the mixed user comments on this machine on Amazon.com as well as other locations, but decided to go ahead with the purchase. My wife and I were in the market for a programmable coffee maker, and, after reviewing them on Consumer Reports, we went with their recommended Black & Decker DCM2500B (black) machine. Some people mentioned that it's "noisy" while brewing. We're NOT sorry. This was a good buy and value for a coffee maker that's, for us, as advertisd. Certainly it does make some noises, but it's mostly a gently "gurgling" that sounds normal during brewing. Admittedly, we've only had the coffee maker a relatively short amount of time, but we're giving it a thumbs up.
The coffee part of the coffee maker is nice- no leaks or drips.The digital display lost "bars" after only 2 days of use.You can't tell what time it is, due to this issue. Disappointing, but, I guess we'll deal with it for now.
